How do I install SplitSheet™?
- Click Install on the SplitSheet™ Marketplace listing — or, from inside any Google Sheets™ file, go to Extensions → Add-ons → Get add-ons and search for SplitSheet™.
- Grant the permissions when prompted.
- Look for the SplitSheet™ icon in the right sidebar of any Google Sheets™ file (that's where Google keeps all your installed add-ons) and click it to open SplitSheet™.
Don't see any icons on the right edge of the screen at all? Google collapses this side panel by default for some accounts (see Google's own help article on Workspace add-ons).
- Look at the very bottom-right corner of the window for a small tab with a left-pointing triangle (◂) on it, poking out from the edge — click that tab and the panel slides out.
- Panel visible but the SplitSheet™ icon still missing? Refresh the sheet.
How do I open the sidebar?
Open any Google Sheets™ file and click the SplitSheet™ icon in the right sidebar to open it.
The panel says "You're offline"
That message comes from Google, not SplitSheet™ — your browser couldn't load the add-on panel. Your sheet and your data are safe. Try these in order:
- Refresh the sheet, then reopen SplitSheet™ from the right sidebar.
- Restart your browser. If there's a pending update — in Chrome, a Finish update or Relaunch button near the top right — click it. A browser that has updated but hasn't restarted often can't load the add-on panel even though the sheet itself looks fine. This is the most common cause.
- Open the sheet in a different browser. If it works there, the problem is local to your first browser — carry on down this list to fix it, or just keep using the one that works.
- In Chrome, try turning off offline access — untick Offline in your Google Drive settings and disable the "Google Docs Offline" extension at
chrome://extensions, then reload. You can turn both back on afterwards. - Disable browser extensions — ad blockers and privacy extensions can block the add-on panel. Testing in a private/incognito window is the quickest way to check.
- Allow third-party cookies for
docs.google.com, and turn off any VPN. - Check the Google Workspace™ Status Dashboard in case Google Sheets™ itself is having trouble.

I upgraded but don't see Pro yet
Pro turns on by itself — there's nothing to enter or activate. It's linked to the Google account you paid with, so two quick checks: make sure you're signed in to that same Google account, then reopen SplitSheet™ from the right sidebar and tap Refresh The Sheet. It can take a minute or two after checkout. Still stuck? Email us at le6labs@gmail.com with your order details and we'll sort it out.
Can I use SplitSheet™ on mobile?
SplitSheet™ works best on desktop via the Google Sheets™ web app. The Google Sheets™ mobile app has limited add-on support, so we recommend using a desktop browser for the full experience.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Pro is a yearly subscription you can cancel anytime — just email us at le6labs@gmail.com. You'll keep Pro through the end of your paid year, with no further charges. If you're hitting a technical issue that prevents the add-on from working, reach out and we'll make it right.
