Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to SplitSheet™, a Google Sheets™ add-on created by le6labs LLC. SplitSheet™ never sees, stores, or touches your expense data — everything stays in your Google account.
What we collect
SplitSheet™ collects your Google account email address solely to manage your plan status (Free or Pro). No expense data, names, or spreadsheet content ever leaves your Google account.
How we use it
Your email is used only to verify your license when the add-on loads. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for marketing purposes. We do not send unsolicited emails.
Third-party services
Purchases (Pro subscriptions) are processed by Stripe. When you upgrade, your payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see your card details. Their privacy policy governs any data collected during checkout.
SplitSheet™ is distributed through the Google Workspace™ Marketplace. Google Workspace™ standard policies apply to the installation and permissions process.
Limited use of Google data
SplitSheet's™ access to, and use of, information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. SplitSheet™ requests the narrowest possible Google Sheets™ permission — access to only the single spreadsheet you open it in — and never reads, stores, transmits, or shares your spreadsheet content. The only Google data that ever leaves your account is your email address, used solely to verify your subscription.
Data storage
To manage your subscription, we store your Google account email address and subscription status (active or inactive, plan, and renewal date) in Google Firebase™ (Firestore), a secure cloud database operated by Google. This is the only data we store. We do not store any spreadsheet content, expense data, or names — that information stays entirely within your Google account, and we have no access to it.
How we protect your data
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS (HTTPS) whenever it moves between the add-on, our license-verification server, and our database. The limited data we store — your email address and subscription status — is held in Google Firebase™ (Firestore), where it is encrypted at rest by Google Cloud™. Access is restricted to our automated license-verification service and to le6labs LLC personnel for support and maintenance only; the data is never sold or disclosed to third parties beyond the payment and infrastructure providers named above. We do not access, and have no technical means to access, the contents of your spreadsheet.
Data retention
We keep your license record only for as long as your subscription is active, plus a limited period needed for accounting and to process refunds and cancellations correctly. You may request deletion at any time (see "Your rights" below), and we will delete your record promptly, except where we are required to retain limited transaction history to comply with legal, tax, or payment-processor obligations.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your license record at any time by contacting us at le6labs@gmail.com. You may also uninstall SplitSheet™ at any time from your Google account — this removes the add-on but does not affect your spreadsheet data.
Children's privacy
SplitSheet™ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of SplitSheet™ after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
